From a Small Kitchen to a Wing Empire

It started in 2012 with a single fryer, a handful of secret spice blends, and an unshakeable conviction: the world deserved better wings. Our founder, Marcus Teller, had spent years perfecting flavors in his home kitchen in West Hartford, sharing trays of wings with neighbors who kept demanding more.

What began as a pop-up at local farmers' markets quickly grew into the beloved dine-in and delivery destination Wings over is today. We opened our Park Road location in 2014, and the line out the door never really stopped.

2012

The First Fryer

Marcus Teller begins testing wing recipes at home in West Hartford, sharing trays with neighbors. The overwhelming response sparks a vision for something bigger.

2013

Farmers' Market Debut

Wings over launches at the West Hartford Farmers' Market, selling out every weekend and earning a loyal following of flavor-seekers across the region.

2014

Park Road Opens

Our flagship restaurant opens at 285 Park Rd. The first week sees a line around the block and the beginning of a permanent dine-in community.

2017

Catering & Events Launch

Wings over expands into full-service catering, bringing the wingsover experience to corporate events, weddings, and private celebrations across Connecticut.

2020

Community Support Initiative

During challenging times, Wings over launches a community meal program, donating thousands of wing orders to frontline workers and families in need across Hartford County.

2023

Online Ordering & Expansion

Wings over launches its new digital ordering platform and expands its delivery zone, making bold wings accessible to even more neighborhoods across Connecticut.
